To set up the ASUS MAP-AC1750 Mesh WiFi System, follow these steps:
1. Connect the Primary Lyra Trio to your modem:
- Unplug your cable/DSL modem and remove the battery (if applicable).
- Connect your modem to the Lyra Trio using the provided network cable.
- Power on your modem and check the LED lights to ensure the connection is active.
- Plug in the power adapter to the Lyra Trio and wait for the LEDs to turn solid white.
2. Set up your Lyra Trio WiFi system:
- Method 1: Through the App
- Download the free ASUS Lyra app on your mobile device.
- Launch the app and follow the instructions to set up your Lyra Trio.
- Make sure your device supports BLE, Bluetooth 4.0 or above.
- Method 2: Through the Web GUI
- Connect your PC/NB to the Lyra Trio via WiFi "ASUS XX AMAPS".
- Open a web browser and navigate to http://router.asus.com or wait to be redirected to the ASUS Setup Wizard.
3. Adding other Lyra Trio to the current network:
- Method 1: Through the App
- Launch the Lyra app and click the "+" icon on the upper right corner.
- Choose "Add Lyra to current network" and follow the instructions to complete the setup.
- Method 2: Through the Pair Button
- Press the Pair button on the Primary Lyra Trio until the LED blinks green.
- Press the Pair button on the second Lyra Trio until the LED blinks green and then turns solid light cyan.
- Repeat this process for additional Lyra Trio devices.
- Note: Pairing only works with the Lyra Trio device connecting to the modem.
4. Lyra Trio LED colors:
- Light Cyan: Everything is good.
- Red: Loss of connection to the primary Lyra Trio. Move it closer.
- Yellow: Loss of connection to the Internet. Check the cable connected to your modem.
- Solid White: Lyra Trio is ready for setup. It will start blinking during the app setup.
