To set up a guest network on the NETGEAR R6200 router, follow these steps:
1. Connect your computer to the router either via Ethernet cable or wirelessly.
2. Open a web browser and enter http://routerlogin.net or http://routerlogin.com in the address bar.
3. Enter the router's admin username and password. The default username is "admin" and the default password is "password". If you have changed these credentials, enter the updated information.
4. Once logged in, navigate to the router's settings page.
5. Look for the "Guest Network" or "Guest Access" option. Click on it.
6. Enable the guest network feature.
7. Configure the settings for the guest network, such as the network name (SSID) and password. You can choose to use the default settings or customize them.
8. Save the settings and exit the router's settings page.
9. The guest network should now be active. Guests can connect to the guest network using the provided network name (SSID) and password.
By setting up a guest network, you can provide Wi-Fi access to guests while keeping your main network secure. Guests connected to the guest network will have limited access and won't be able to access devices or files on your main network.
