To connect your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer to a wireless network, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your printer is turned on and connected to a power source.
2. On the printer's control panel, touch the Wireless icon to open the Wireless Summary screen.
3. From the Wireless Summary screen, touch the Settings icon.
4. In the Settings menu, select Wireless Setup Wizard. The printer will search for available wireless networks.
5. From the list of available networks, select your network name (SSID). If your network name does not appear, select Enter New Network Name, and manually enter your network name.
6. If prompted, enter your network password using the on-screen keyboard. Use the Shift key to switch between uppercase and lowercase characters.
7. After entering the password, touch Done to confirm.
8. The printer will attempt to connect to the wireless network. Once connected, the Wireless Summary screen will display the printer's IP address.
9. To verify the connection, you can print a wireless network test report. From the Wireless Summary screen, touch Print Report.
