To set up the wireless connection for your HP M15w LaserJet Pro printer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that your printer is within the range of your wireless network. It should be within 30 meters (100 feet) of the wireless access point (wireless router).
2. If needed, temporarily connect your printer and computer using a USB cable. Do not connect the USB cable until prompted to ensure that the wireless setup information synchronizes correctly.
3. Remove the USB cable from the printer.
4. Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer control panel for 20 seconds.
5. When the Attention LED and the Power LED start blinking together, release the Wireless button. The printer will restart automatically.
6. When the Ready LED is on, continue to install the software.
If your router supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) mode, you can try connecting through this mode:
1. Press the WPS button on your router.
2. Within two minutes, press and hold the Wireless button on the printer control panel for at least three seconds, and then release the button. The Wireless LED and the Ready LED will start blinking together.
3. Wait for up to two minutes while the printer automatically establishes the network connection. When the network connection is established, the Wireless LED will stop blinking and remain on.
4. Continue to install the software.
You can also manually connect the printer to your wireless network or troubleshoot any wireless connection issues by referring to the user guide provided on the HP support website at www.hp.com/support/ljM14.
Please note that the HP M15w LaserJet Pro printer only supports the 2.4 GHz band for wireless connections.
