There are two ways to sync your RBS40 Orbi Wi-Fi Satellite with your router.
1. Using the NETGEAR Orbi App:
- Download and launch the NETGEAR Orbi app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Tap the menu icon and select "ADD SATELLITE."
- Follow the prompts in the app to sync your satellite with your router.
2. Manual Sync:
- Place and plug in your satellite. The ring LED on the satellite will pulse white.
- Wait for the ring LED to light solid white.
- Press the Sync button on the back of your satellite, and within two minutes, press the Sync button on the back of your router.
After syncing, the satellite's ring LED will display different colors to indicate the connection status:
- Blue: The connection between the router and satellite is good.
- Amber: The connection between the satellite and router is fair. Consider moving the satellite closer to the router.
- Magenta: The satellite was unable to connect to the router. Move the satellite closer to the router.
