To set up the ARRIS SURFboard SVG2482AC Wireless Voice Gateway, follow these steps:
1. Connect the coaxial cable from your cable service provider to the coaxial port on the back of the gateway.
2. Connect the power adapter to the power port on the back of the gateway and plug it into a power outlet.
3. Connect your computer or device to the gateway using an Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi.
4. Open a web browser on your computer or device and enter the default gateway IP address (192.168.0.1) in the address bar.
5. You will be prompted to enter a username and password. The default username is "admin" and the default password is "password". Enter these credentials and click "Login".
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup process, including selecting your language, setting up your Wi-Fi network, and activating your voice service if applicable.
7. Once the setup is complete, you can customize your network settings, such as changing the Wi-Fi network name and password, setting up parental controls, and configuring advanced features.
