To pair the Inkbird BBQ GO IBT-4XS Smart Wireless BBQ Thermometer with your phone, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your phone meets the requirements: iPhone 4S or later models, iPod touch 5th generation, iPad 3rd generation or later models, all iPad minis; Android devices running version 4.4 or later with Bluetooth 4.0 module.
2. Charge the device: The Inkbird BBQ GO IBT-4XS has a built-in non-detachable lithium battery. Use a compatible power supply to charge the device. It takes approximately two hours to fully recharge.
3. Download the app: Search for the keyword "bbq go" in the App Store or Google Play, or scan the provided QR code with your phone. Download and install the app for free.
4. Install the probes: The device has 4 probe sockets. Insert the probes into the food you want to monitor, making sure the front tip of the probe is in the center of the food for accurate temperature readings.
5. Power on the device: Press and hold the power button on the device for 3 seconds to turn it on.
6. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone: Go to your phone's settings and enable Bluetooth.
7. Launch the app: Open the BBQ GO app on your phone.
8. Follow the instructions in the app: The app will guide you through the pairing process. Make sure to follow the on-screen instructions to pair and activate the device.
9. Connected successfully: Once the device is successfully paired with your phone, you don't need to repeat the pairing process unless you change to a different phone.
