To install the Leviton 41089-6EP QuickPort Surface Mount Housing, please follow these steps:
1. Identify the port side and cable entry side of the base.
2. Use double back tape, self-adhesive hook and loop strips, or the 1˝ screws provided to mount the base to the wall. Make sure it is securely affixed.
3. Terminate the wire onto the QuickPort snap-in adapter or connector according to the instructions provided with that specific product.
4. Insert the connector into the housing at a steep angle, rotate it, and push it into the base.
5. Swing the back part of the jack down and forward until it fully locks behind the retention ledge on the base.
To remove the jack from the housing, place a small flat screwdriver in the retention ledge slot on the base and pry upward to release.
