To connect the ND-861 DVD Player to your HD TV, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your TV and DVD player are powered off.
2. Locate the HDMI output on the back of the DVD player. It should be labeled as "HDMI Out" or something similar.
3. Connect one end of the HDMI cable (included in the package) to the HDMI output of the DVD player.
4. Locate the HDMI input on your HD TV. It is usually labeled as "HDMI In" or something similar.
5. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input of your TV.
6. Power on both the DVD player and your TV.
7. Use the TV remote to select the appropriate HDMI input source. This may be labeled as "HDMI 1," "HDMI 2," etc., depending on the number of HDMI inputs on your TV.
8. The DVD player's menu should now be displayed on your TV screen. You can use the included remote control to navigate the menu and start playing your DVDs.
Note: If your TV does not have an HDMI input, you can still connect the DVD player using the composite (RCA) video and audio outputs. The DVD player should come with a set of RCA cables (red, white, and yellow). Simply connect the corresponding colored plugs from the DVD player to the RCA inputs on your TV. Keep in mind that using the HDMI connection will provide the best video and audio quality.
