To connect the SilverStone SST-EP16 USB Type-C to VGA and HDMI Adapter to your device and external display, follow these steps:
1. Insert the USB Type-C connector of the adapter into the USB Type-C port on your device.
2. Connect either a VGA or HDMI cable to the corresponding port on the adapter. If you are using a VGA display, connect the VGA end of the cable. If you are using a display that supports HDMI, connect the HDMI end of the cable.
3. On the connected display, use the input/source selection options to choose the input source that corresponds to the port you connected the adapter to (VGA or HDMI).
4. Depending on your device's settings, you may need to adjust the display settings to choose between mirroring the display on another screen or extending the display on your current screen.
5. If you want to ensure the highest visual quality, you can adjust the display resolution settings on your device. Make sure the chosen resolution is supported by both your device and the connected monitor.
6. If you are using the HDMI output, the audio signal is typically transmitted along with the video signal. However, VGA output does not support audio.
7. Once you have finished using the adapter, safely disconnect it by following the procedures specified for your device's operating system.
