To connect a SATA drive to the Silverstone EP02 Tek USB 3.0 to SATA Adapter, follow these steps:
1. Connect the SATA HDD/SSD to the EP02. If you have the EP02.MS07 2.5" HOD silicone case, you can use it with the EP02 for better protection.
2. Connect the USB 3.0 cable to the EP02.
3. Plug the other end of the USB 3.0 cable into an available USB port on your system.
4. If you are connecting a 3.5" HDD, you will need a 12Vdc power adapter (not included) to provide power to the drive. Connect the power adapter to the EP02 and plug it into an electrical outlet.
5. Once everything is connected, your system should recognize the SATA drive, and you can start using it.
Please note that it is important not to disconnect any cables or power sources while the connected hard drive is active to avoid data loss and possible damage to the hard drive. Make sure the hard drive is connected to the adapter before connecting the EP02 to the host computer.
