To install the Leviton 41295-VMG VGA 110-termination MOS Module, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a Leviton MOS wallplate or housing where the module will be installed. The module is 1 unit high and must be installed in a compatible Leviton MOS wallplate.
2. Prepare two twisted-pair cables (Cat 5e or higher, UTP or shielded) for each set of VGA modules. These cables will be used to connect the VGA source (e.g., computer) to the VGA display (e.g., monitor).
3. Insert the Leviton 41295-VMG module into the MOS wallplate or housing. Make sure it is securely in place.
4. Terminate the VGA cables using the IDC termination method. The module features wiring blocks or terminals in the 110 style, which allows for punch-down termination. This ensures a clean and organized connection for video signals.
5. Connect one end of each twisted-pair cable to the VGA source (e.g., computer) and the other end to the VGA display (e.g., monitor). Ensure that the connections are secure.
6. The Leviton 41295-VMG module is not compatible with MOS Surface Mount Boxes, so make sure you are using the appropriate installation method.
Please refer to the Leviton 41295-VMG VGA 110-termination MOS Module User Manual for detailed instructions, diagrams, and specifications.
