Sure! Here are the step-by-step instructions for setting up the StarTech.com ST12MHDLNHK HDMI Over IP Extender:
1. Determine the location of your HDMI-enabled video source device (e.g., computer, Blu-ray player) and set it up.
2. Determine the location of your HDMI-enabled display device (e.g., television, projector) and place or mount it appropriately.
3. (Optional) If you are using additional receivers (ST12MHDLNHR), determine their locations and place or mount the displays appropriately.
4. Connect an HDMI cable from the video output of your video source device to the HDMI video input port on the transmitter.
5. Connect the transmitter to an AC electrical outlet using the provided universal power adapter.
6. Position the receiver near the HDMI-enabled display device.
7. Connect an HDMI cable from the video input on the display device to the HDMI video output port on the receiver.
8. Connect the receiver to an AC electrical outlet using the provided universal power adapter.
9. Connect an RJ-45 terminated CAT5/5e/6 Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the transmitter.
10. Connect the other end of the CAT5/5e/6 cable to the RJ-45 connector on the receiver.
11. Ensure that the rotary DIP switch on the transmitter and receiver are set to the same position or channel for the devices to communicate.
12. Power on all devices and wait for them to establish a connection.
13. Your source video image should now appear on the display connected to the receiver.
