Installing the StarTech.com KITBXAVHDPNA conference table connectivity box is a straightforward process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Start by determining the location where you want to install the conference table box. Ensure that it is easily accessible and convenient for connecting devices.
2. Use the provided cut-out template to mark the area on your conference table where the box will be installed. Make sure to align the template properly and double-check the measurements.
3. Once the cut-out area is marked, use appropriate tools to cut the hole in the table. Follow the guidelines provided in the template and take necessary precautions to avoid any damage.
4. After cutting the hole, place the conference table insert (BOX4MODULE) into the cut-out area. Ensure that it fits securely and aligns properly with the table surface.
5. Use the provided mounting brackets and screws to secure the conference table insert in place. Attach the brackets to the underside of the table and tighten the screws to ensure a stable installation.
6. Connect the power outlet module (MOD4POWERNA) and audio-video module (MOD4AVHD) to the conference table insert. Follow the instructions in the user manual to properly connect the modules.
7. Route the cables through the cable organizer and ensure they are neatly organized and accessible.
8. Close the lid of the conference table insert to conceal the connection points and provide a clean appearance.
9. Connect your devices, such as laptops or media players, to the HDMI, DisplayPort, or VGA inputs on the conference table box.
10. Connect the HDMI output of the conference table box to your display or projector using an HDMI cable.
11. If required, connect additional devices to the USB-A ports or AC outlets for power and charging.
12. Power on your devices and the conference table box should automatically detect and switch to the most recently connected or powered-on laptop.
