To connect the Gefen EXT-VGA-141SRN VGA Extension SRN, follow these steps:
1. Connect the VGA Extender SR sender unit to the VGA output on the back of your computer using the supplied VGA cable.
2. Connect the VGA Extender SR receiver unit to your monitor using the VGA cable that is attached to your monitor.
3. Connect a CAT5 cable between the VGA Extender SR sender and receiver's CAT5 input.
4. Plug the 5-volt power supply into the sender unit. The VGA Extender SR receiver will draw power from the sender.
Note: It is important to connect all the cables between the computer and the VGA Extender SRN before powering up the unit.
