To connect the Power ST4 RX to your flash unit, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your flash unit is turned off.
2. Locate the remote port on your flash unit. This is where you will connect the Power ST4 RX.
3. Take the Power ST4 RX and insert the appropriate connector into the remote port of your flash unit. Make sure it is securely connected.
4. Once the Power ST4 RX is connected to your flash unit, turn on the flash unit.
5. Set the Zone Switch on your Power ST4 RX to either Zone A, B, or C. The default setting is Zone A.
6. Ensure that your PocketWizard transmitter and Power ST4 RX are set to the same PocketWizard channel. You can adjust the channel settings using the PocketWizard Utility software or by following the instructions in the product manual.
7. The Status LED on the Power ST4 RX will blink green every few seconds to indicate normal operation. It will blink red in sync with a trigger.
8. To test the trigger, momentarily press the TEST/LEARN button on the Power ST4 RX. This will trigger the flash.
9. Note that the Power ST4 RX overrides any settings you make directly on your flash unit. If you want to change the beeper, modeling light, or optical slave mode on your flash unit, make sure to set those features on your flash unit before turning on your camera's transmitter. You can also adjust these settings from your transmitter using the PocketWizard Utility software.
