To measure AC current with the AstroAI CM4KOR Digital Clamp Meter, follow these steps:
1. Turn the rotary dial to the "" or " " setting. The screen will display " ".
2. Press the FUNC Button to switch to AC current mode. The screen will display "".
3. Press the trigger to open the transformer jaws. Then, clamp the conductor to be tested and slowly release the trigger until the clamp head is completely closed. Ensure the conductor to be tested is in the center of the clamp head. Measurement errors will occur if the conductor is not placed in the center of the clamp head.
4. After the reading stabilizes, record the reading from the LCD screen.
5. Turn the rotary switch to the OFF position to turn off the meter.
Note: When measuring AC current, you can also press the FUNC Button to check the frequency and enter the low-pass filtering (LPF) mode. The screen will display "Hz" and " ", respectively. This can be useful for additional analysis of the AC current.
