To change the batteries in the , please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the garbage can is turned off and remove any trash or debris from inside.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back or bottom of the garbage can.
3. Use a screwdriver or coin to open the battery compartment cover.
4. Remove the old batteries from the compartment and dispose of them properly.
5. Insert four new AA batteries into the compartment, making sure to match the positive (+) and negative (-) ends correctly.
6. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
7. Turn on the garbage can by pressing the power button, if applicable.
8. Test the motion sensor by waving your hand in front of it to see if the lid opens automatically.
If the lid still does not open after changing the batteries, please refer to the troubleshooting section of the user manual or contact JOYBOS customer care for further assistance.
