To replace the batteries in the BestOffice 13 Gallon Automatic Garbage Can, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the trash can is turned off by flipping the power switch to the "off" position.
2. Locate the battery section on the bottom of the lid.
3. Using a screwdriver or coin, turn the battery cover counterclockwise to unlock it.
4. Remove the battery cover to reveal the battery compartment.
5. Take out the old batteries and dispose of them properly.
6. Insert four new C batteries into the battery compartment, making sure to align them according to the polarity lines indicated inside.
7. Replace the battery cover and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
8. Ensure that the battery cover is securely fastened to prevent any water or dust from entering the compartment.
9. Flip the power switch to the "on" position to turn on the motion monitor.
