Installing the TOTO SW3056 Electronic Bidet is a relatively straightforward process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Turn off the water supply: Locate the water shut-off valve behind your toilet and turn it off to stop the water flow.
2. Remove the existing toilet seat: Unscrew the bolts or nuts that secure the current toilet seat to the toilet bowl. Lift the seat and remove it.
3. Position the bidet seat: Place the TOTO SW3056 Electronic Bidet seat onto the toilet bowl, aligning the mounting holes with the holes on the bowl.
4. Connect the water supply: Attach the water supply hose from the bidet seat to the water inlet valve on the toilet tank. Ensure a secure connection.
5. Connect the bidet seat to the toilet bowl: Insert the mounting bolts or screws through the bidet seat mounting holes and the corresponding holes on the toilet bowl. Tighten them securely.
6. Adjust the seat position: Make sure the bidet seat is aligned properly and centered on the toilet bowl. Adjust the seat position if necessary.
7. Connect the power source: If applicable, insert 2 AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment located on the bidet seat. Ensure the correct polarity.
8. Turn on the water supply: Turn on the water shut-off valve to allow water flow to the bidet seat.
9. Test the bidet functions: Sit on the bidet seat and test the various functions, such as water temperature, water pressure, and cleansing modes, to ensure they are working correctly.
