To measure AC voltage with the , follow these steps:
1. Insert the red test lead into the "Input" jack and the black test lead into the "COM" jack.
2. Turn on the Multimeter by setting it to "Continuity Test". Touch the test lead tips together to check if they are connected normally. An audible sound should occur.
3. Turn the rotary dial to the Voltage test setting. Note that the Meter defaults to DC Voltage, so use the "Select" button to reach the AC Voltage test. "AC" will be displayed on the screen.
