To measure AC current with the KAIWEETS HT206D Digital Clamp Meter, follow these steps:
1. Set the rotary switch to the appropriate current range (60A or 600A).
2. Press the "Z / F" button to switch to AC current measurement mode (the display will show "AC").
3. Press the clamp release lever and open the clamp.
4. Position the wire you want to measure in the middle of the clamp, between the two triangular position symbols.
5. Close the clamp around the wire, ensuring it is centered within the clamp.
6. The measured AC current will be displayed on the screen. If the current is above 3A, the display will light up in orange.
Note: Make sure to hold your fingers behind the tactile barrier for safety. Do not measure multiple conductors at once, as the currents may cancel each other out. If measuring multiple supply conductors, use a cable separator.
