To connect the Bose 838309-1100 TV Speaker to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Choose an audio cable based on your TV's available ports. The two options are optical and HDMI ARC.
2. For optical connection:
- Remove the caps from both ends of the optical cable.
- Insert one end of the optical cable into the Optical OUT port on your TV.
- Insert the other end into the OPTICAL IN port on the speaker.
3. For HDMI ARC connection:
- Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
- Insert the other end into the HDMI IN port on the speaker. Please note that the HDMI cable is not provided with the speaker.
4. Connect the power cord to the 1 POWER port on the back of the speaker.
5. Plug the other end of the power cord into an AC (mains) power outlet. The speaker will power on, and you will hear a tone.
