To connect the Edifier R980T Multimedia Speaker to your audio source, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the main speaker and secondary speaker using the speaker connecting cable, ensuring that they are connected with the correct polarity. The main speaker is the one with the power switch and the rear panel controls.
2. Connect your audio source to the speakers using either the 3.5mm to dual RCA audio cable or the RCA to RCA audio connecting cable, depending on the audio output of your device. The 3.5mm to dual RCA audio cable is commonly used for connecting to personal computers or smartphones, while the RCA to RCA audio connecting cable is used for connecting to devices with RCA outputs.
3. Power on the speakers by pressing the power switch located on the rear panel of the main speaker.
4. Slowly turn up the master volume control on the rear panel of the main speaker to a comfortable level.
5. Adjust the bass control on the rear panel of the main speaker if needed to enhance the sound quality.
