Installing the Keepsmile KS15 RGB Smart LED Strip Lights is a straightforward process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Unbox the package and ensure that you have all the components: LED strips, AC/DC power converter, infrared remote control, and controller box.
2. Clean the surface where you plan to install the LED strip lights to ensure proper adhesion.
3. Remove the adhesive backing from the LED strip lights and carefully stick them to the desired surface. Make sure to align the strip in a straight line or desired shape.
4. Connect the power adapter to the controller box, ensuring a secure connection.
5. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
6. If you want to control the lights using the remote control, insert the battery into the remote control and ensure it is functioning properly.
7. If you prefer to control the lights using a smartphone app, download the compatible app (specified in the user manual) and follow the app's instructions to connect the lights to your device.
8. Once the lights are installed and powered on, you can use the remote control or the smartphone app to adjust the colors, brightness, and lighting effects.
Note: If you need to cut the LED strip lights to fit a specific length, make sure to cut along the designated cuttable line and use solderless connectors (purchased separately) to reconnect the remaining strip.
