To clean the air filter on the LG LW6017R window air conditioner, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the air conditioner and unplug it from the power source.
2. Locate the air filter on the front grille of the unit.
3. Pull the filter forward and then up slightly to remove it from the grille.
4. Wash the filter using lukewarm water below 40 °C (104 °F). Gently shake the excess water from the filter.
5. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinstalling it.
6. Once the filter is dry, insert it back into the front grille by pushing it back into place.
7. Make sure the filter is securely in place before turning on the air conditioner.
Cleaning the air filter regularly is important for maintaining the efficiency of your air conditioner. It is recommended to clean the filter every two weeks or as needed.
