To connect the Leviton 41920-A01 Mixing Audio Amplifier to your speakers, follow these steps:
1. Identify the type of speakers you have. The amplifier is designed to power passive speakers, which do not have built-in amplifiers. If you have active speakers with their own built-in amplifiers, you may not need to connect them to the Leviton amplifier.
2. Determine the impedance of your speakers. The amplifier can support speakers with an impedance of 4 to 8 ohms. Make sure your speakers fall within this range.
3. Connect the speaker wires to the amplifier. The Leviton amplifier has captive xxxx connectors for the speaker outputs. Strip the ends of your speaker wires and insert them into the appropriate terminals. Make sure to connect the positive (+) wire to the positive terminal and the negative (-) wire to the negative terminal.
4. Tighten the captive screws to secure the speaker wires in place. Ensure that the connections are tight and secure to prevent any signal loss or interference.
5. Repeat the above steps for each speaker you want to connect to the amplifier. If you have multiple speakers, you can connect them in parallel or series, depending on your desired configuration and the impedance requirements.
6. Once all the speakers are connected, power on the Leviton amplifier and adjust the volume and tone controls to your preference.
Please refer to the Leviton 41920-A01 Mixing Audio Amplifier User's Manual for additional information and diagrams on connecting speakers to the amplifier.
