To install the batteries in the LG 42LM5800 remote control, please follow these steps:
1. Turn the remote control over and locate the battery compartment on the back.
2. Open the battery compartment by sliding the cover off or lifting it up, depending on the design.
3. Insert the batteries into the compartment, making sure to match the polarity markings (+ and -) on the batteries with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment by sliding the cover back on or pressing it down until it clicks into place.
5. Make sure the batteries are securely installed and that the cover is fully closed.
