To set up and pair your Galaxy Watch 6 with your smartphone, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your smartphone is compatible with the Galaxy Watch 6. It works with both iOS (9 or later) and Android smartphones.
2. Download and install the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone from the respective app store (Galaxy Store for Samsung devices or Google Play Store for other Android devices).
3. Open the Galaxy Wearable app and tap on "Start the journey" or "Connect to a new watch" to begin the setup process.
4. On your Galaxy Watch 6, press the Home button to turn it on. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language and agree to the terms and conditions.
5. On your smartphone, the app will search for nearby devices. When your Galaxy Watch 6 appears on the list, tap on it to start the pairing process.
6. A pairing code will be displayed on both your smartphone and watch. Make sure the codes match and tap "Pair" on your smartphone and "OK" on your watch to confirm the pairing.
7. Once the pairing is successful, you'll be prompted to sign in to your Samsung account or create a new one. This step is optional but recommended for accessing additional features and services.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize your watch settings, such as enabling notifications, granting permissions, and selecting watch faces.
9. After the setup is complete, your Galaxy Watch 6 will sync with your smartphone, and you'll be able to receive notifications, calls, and texts on your watch.
