To clean the toaster, follow these steps:
1. After each use and before cleaning, unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool.
2. Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth and then dry it with another cloth or paper towel. Do not use abrasive cleaners as they may damage the toaster's finish.
3. Tap the sides of the toaster lightly to dislodge any crumbs caught in the toast chamber.
4. Remove the Removable Crumb Tray and empty it. You can wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth or place it in the top rack of your dishwasher for cleaning. Make sure to put the Crumb Tray back into the toaster before using it again.
5. Wipe the surface on the top of the bread slots with a damp cloth and dry it with another cloth or paper towel.
6. Do not immerse the toaster in liquid.
Note: It is important to empty the Crumb Tray frequently to prevent the accumulation of crumbs, which could potentially catch fire if not emptied periodically.
