To use the Santamedical SM-210 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter, follow these steps:
1. Install two AAA batteries into the battery cassette and close the cover.
2. Open the clamp of the oximeter.
3. Insert one finger fully into the flexible fingertip of the oximeter.
4. Press the power switch once on the front panel.
5. Keep the patient's finger still while the oximeter is working.
6. Read the corresponding data from the display screen.
Note: Make sure your nail surface is facing upward when inserting your finger into the oximeter. Clean the rubber inside the oximeter with medical alcohol before and after use. The oximeter is not intended for continuous monitoring and does not have SpO2 alarms.
