To set up the FRANKEVER FK-UFO-R4 Remote-Control Extender, please follow these steps:
1. Download and install the "Smart Life" app from the Google Play Store or App Store on your mobile device.
2. Create an account using your mobile number and verification code.
3. Connect your mobile device to your home Wi-Fi router.
4. Open the "Smart Life" app and tap the "+" button at the upper right corner of the homepage.
5. Select "Universal Remote Control" from the "Others" type.
6. Power on the remote control and long press the power button for about 5 seconds until the blue indicator flashes rapidly.
7. Enter your Wi-Fi password and click "Confirm" to connect the remote control to your Wi-Fi network.
8. Once the connection is completed, click "Completed" and then click it to add your TV, TV box, fan, air conditioner, or other devices with different brands.
9. After adding the devices, you can click the "Pen" icon to edit the device names to avoid conflicts with others' devices.
10. If a remote control for an electric device cannot be found in the existing brand library, you can copy the keys and enable them to control the electric devices.
11. After copying a key successfully, press it to test whether it works properly. You can also choose to click "Done" to save or copy other keys.
12. If you cannot find the brand of the added device in the list, you can click "DIY" to copy function keys from other brand's remote control to control it.
13. If you want to edit or add other buttons, just click "Edit" at the upper right corner.
