To connect the Signa S3 sound bar to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Check if your TV has an HDMI port labeled "ARC." If it does, connect the included HDMI cable to the HDMI ports labeled with "ARC" on both the TV and the sound bar. If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC port, you can still connect using the included optical cable.
2. Position the sound bar centered under your TV for the best listening experience.
3. Connect the sound bar and the subwoofer to separate AC outlets.
4. Turn on your TV and verify that you are seeing video on the TV and hearing sound from the sound bar. You may need to select the appropriate HDMI source on your TV.
5. If you do not hear sound and see any lights on the front of the sound bar, press the power button on the sound bar to turn it on.
6. The subwoofer will automatically connect to the sound bar. When the connection is completed, the POWER LED on the back of the subwoofer will be solid green.
Note: If you are hearing sound from both your TV and the sound bar, you need to manually turn off your TV speakers using the Settings Menu on your TV. Refer to your TV's owner's manual for instructions.
