To connect your speakers to the Yamaha RX-V581 A/V Receiver, please follow these steps:
1. Identify the speaker terminals on the back of the receiver. They are labeled as "Front," "Center," "Surround," and "Surround Back" for the respective speaker positions.
2. For each speaker, locate the corresponding speaker wire. The wire should have two ends, one with a positive (+) and one with a negative (-) connector.
3. Insert the positive (+) connector of the speaker wire into the red terminal of the corresponding speaker terminal on the receiver. Make sure it is securely inserted.
4. Insert the negative (-) connector of the speaker wire into the black terminal of the corresponding speaker terminal on the receiver. Again, ensure it is securely inserted.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each speaker, connecting them to their respective speaker terminals on the receiver.
6. Once all the speakers are connected, make sure the wires are properly routed and not tangled or touching each other to avoid interference.
7. Double-check all the connections to ensure they are secure and tight.
8. Finally, refer to the owner's manual for further instructions on configuring the speaker settings and running the YPAO sound optimization for optimal audio performance.
