To connect your devices to the Yamaha RX-A780 AV Receiver, follow these steps:
1. Identify the HDMI ports on the back of the receiver. The RX-A780 has multiple HDMI inputs and outputs, which allow for compatibility with a wide variety of devices.
2. Connect your TV to the HDMI OUT port on the receiver using an HDMI cable. This will allow you to send audio and video signals from the receiver to your TV.
3. Connect your Blu-ray player, game console, and any other devices to the HDMI IN ports on the receiver. Use separate HDMI cables for each device and connect them to the available HDMI inputs.
4. Make sure your devices are powered on and set to the correct HDMI input. Use your TV remote or the device's remote to select the corresponding HDMI input.
5. If you have additional audio devices, such as a CD player or turntable, you can connect them to the analog audio inputs on the receiver using RCA cables.
6. Once all the connections are made, turn on the receiver and your devices. Use the receiver's remote or the Yamaha AV Controller app on your smartphone or tablet to select the desired input and adjust the settings as needed.
