To connect the NAXA NSH-1000 Wi-Fi Smart Plug to your Wi-Fi network, you can follow the instructions provided in the user manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Make sure your Wi-Fi network is operating at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, as the smart plug only supports this frequency.
2. Download the "Smart Life" app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or scan the QR code provided in the user manual.
3. Open the Smart Life app and register an account using your email address or phone number. If you choose to enter your phone number, a verification code will be sent to you.
4. Once registered, tap the "+" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Smart Life app screen and select "Electrical Outlet" as the device type.
5. There are two modes for connecting the smart plug: Easy Mode and AP Mode. It is recommended to use Easy Mode for easier configuration.
6. To initiate Easy Mode, ensure that the indicator light on the smart plug is blinking rapidly (twice per second). If it blinks slowly (once every two seconds), press and hold the power button on the smart plug for 6 seconds until the indicator light starts blinking rapidly.
7. In the Smart Life app, follow the in-app instructions to connect the smart plug to your Wi-Fi network. Make sure to enter your Wi-Fi network's password correctly.
8. Once the smart plug is successfully connected to your Wi-Fi network, the connection will be prompted in the Smart Life app. Click "Done" to complete the setup.
9. You can now control the NAXA NSH-1000 Wi-Fi Smart Plug through the Smart Life app.
Note: If you prefer to use AP Mode instead of Easy Mode, the user manual provides instructions for that as well.
