To connect your smartphone to the Planet Audio P9900CPA Multimedia Player, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your smartphone is compatible with the P9900CPA. This multimedia player supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
2. Use a USB cable to connect your smartphone to the USB port on the front or rear of the P9900CPA.
3. Once connected, the multimedia player should detect your smartphone automatically. If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup process.
4. For Apple CarPlay: If you're using an iPhone, the CarPlay interface should appear on the P9900CPA's touchscreen. You can now access your iPhone's apps, make calls, send messages, and use Siri voice controls directly from the multimedia player.
5. For Android Auto: If you're using an Android smartphone, the Android Auto interface should appear on the P9900CPA's touchscreen. You can now access Google Maps, Waze, make calls, send messages, and use Google Assistant voice controls directly from the multimedia player.
Note: Make sure to grant the necessary permissions on your smartphone for the P9900CPA to access your contacts, messages, and other relevant data.
