To install the Graywind GW-QZYM-TH00 Roller Shades, you will need a few tools such as a xxxx gun, tape measure, screwdriver, level, and pencil. The installation process will vary depending on whether you are doing an inside mount or an outside mount. Here are the general steps:
1. Bracket Installation:
- For inside mount: The distance from the first bracket mounting hole to the front of the jamb should be more than 3/4". Both brackets should be at the same horizontal line.
- For outside mount: The top of each bracket should be parallel with the edge of the window frame. The distance from the mounting holes to the front edge of the window frame should be more than 3/4". Both brackets should be at the same horizontal line.
2. Bracket Installation for Coupled Shade:
- The bracket installation for the coupled shade is the same as the single shade but uses a 36x6mm extension behind both side brackets. The center bracket should be at the same horizontal line as the two side brackets.
3. Install the Shade into the Brackets:
- Mount the shade (motor side) into the bracket (motor side), and then press the end plug into the mounting hole of the end plug bracket.
4. Removal:
- Use a screwdriver to release the end plug from the end plug bracket and then remove the motor side of the shade from the clutch bracket.
