To connect your device to the Pyle PPHP87BTA Portable Bluetooth PA Speaker, please follow these steps:
1. Turn on the speaker by pressing the master volume control/power switch located on the control board.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.).
3. On the speaker, press the "MODE" button on the remote control or the control board to switch to Bluetooth mode. The display screen will show "BT" to indicate that the speaker is ready to pair.
4. On your device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "PYLEUSA" from the list.
5. If prompted, enter the default PIN code "0000" to pair your device with the speaker.
6. Once connected, the display screen on the speaker will show "BT" along with the Bluetooth symbol to indicate a successful connection.
7. You can now play audio from your device, and it will be wirelessly streamed to the speaker.
If you are still experiencing difficulties connecting your device, please ensure that your device's Bluetooth function is working correctly and that it is within the wireless range of the speaker (up to 32 feet). Additionally, make sure that no other devices are currently connected to the speaker via Bluetooth, as it can only connect to one device at a time.
