To assemble the Secura EM-516 Convenient Detachable Steam Mop, please follow these steps:
1. Carefully unpack the steam mop and remove all packaging materials. Save the box and packing materials for later storage.
2. Clean the appliance according to the instructions in the CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section of the user manual.
3. Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface to avoid overturning.
4. This appliance can be used as a Steam Mop and Handheld Steam Cleaner. Assemble all the parts correctly, as illustrated in the PARTS DESCRIPTION section of the user manual, to meet your needs.
5. Untie the power cord completely.
6. Lay the steam mop flat on the floor, open the water tank cap, and fill the water to the full capacity of the tank. Close the water tank with the cap, and stand the steam mop upright to make sure the water level is under the MAX line.
7. Before connecting the appliance to the power source, check that the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the main voltage in your home.
8. Press the power switch to turn on the appliance, the indicator light will illuminate red, and the appliance will start heating. Wait for a short while until red turns to green, and steam is ready for use. Turn the steam adjustment xxxx to control the steam quantity between MIN and MAX.
9. This mop has a mechanism that can allow it to stand upright on its own. Before using, hold the mop handle and press the Mop Head down to release it, so that the Mop Head will be parallel to and tightly fit with the floor surface.
