To assemble the Hoover Linx Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, please follow these steps:
1. Line up the nozzle with the main body and firmly push the nozzle into the body of the unit until the nozzle locks into place. To remove, push the release button and pull the nozzle away from the body of the unit.
2. Insert the handle into the body. Ensure the handle faces the proper direction.
3. Insert the xxxx provided and tighten until secure. Do not over-tighten the xxxx .
4. Charge the battery fully before first use. A fully discharged battery will take up to 3 hours to charge. Refer to the battery and charging manual for specific instructions on charging the battery. Use only the manufacturer's supplied or recommended battery and charger.
5. Insert the charged battery into the battery cavity until the latch is locked into place. When inserting and removing the battery, ensure the switch is in the off position marked "O".
6. Hold down the nozzle with your foot and tilt it back to the reclining position.
7. To turn the vacuum on, roll the button forward. The "O" position is off, the "I" position is for suction only, and the "I" with brush symbol is for suction and brushroll.
