To connect the VIZIO SB3821-C6 Sound Bar to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your TV is turned off.
2. Locate the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) or Optical Audio Out port on your TV.
3. Connect one end of the HDMI cable or optical audio cable to the corresponding port on your TV.
4. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable or optical audio cable to the HDMI ARC or Optical In port on the back of the sound bar.
5. Plug the power cord of the sound bar and the wireless subwoofer into a power outlet.
6. Turn on your TV and set it to the appropriate input source for the sound bar (HDMI ARC or optical).
7. On the sound bar remote, press the Input button to select the input source that matches the connection you made (HDMI ARC or optical).
8. Adjust the volume on the sound bar and your TV to a comfortable level.
