To connect the JBL Bar 2.1 Deep Bass soundbar to your TV, you have two options: HDMI or optical cable.
1. HDMI Connection:
- Connect one end of the supplied HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC input on your TV.
- On your TV, make sure HDMI-CEC and HDMI ARC are enabled. Refer to your TV's owner's manual for instructions on how to enable these features.
2. Optical Cable Connection:
- Connect one end of an optical cable (sold separately) to the OPTICAL port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical output on your TV or digital device.
Once the soundbar is connected to your TV, make sure to select the correct audio input source on the soundbar or use the TV remote control to control the soundbar's volume and power functions. Refer to the "TV remote control setup" section in the manual for instructions on how to use your TV remote control with the soundbar.
Please note that for optimal performance, it is recommended to disable the built-in TV speakers or set your TV to support external speakers.
