To install the Abask Q40S Dual Car Camera, please follow these steps:
1. Turn off your car engine and the dash cam.
2. Insert a high-speed TF card (Class 10 or above) into the card slot of the dash cam. Make sure to format the TF card in the dash cam before first use.
3. Remove the protective stickers from both the Car DVR and the Suction Mount.
4. Slot the mount bracket into the socket on the top of the Car DVR. With the screen facing you, slide the bracket from left to right until it locks in place.
5. Fix the recorder on the original rearview mirror position of your car.
6. Once the Car DVR is securely installed on your vehicle's windshield, plug the car charger into the car cigarette lighter socket and the other end into the USB port of the dash cam. You can lay the charging extension cable along the edge of the car windshield for neat wiring.
7. Install the rear camera by plugging it into the dash cam interface first. Then, route the wire from the front to the back of your vehicle along the vehicle roof. Finally, install the rear camera at the rear of the vehicle.
8. Adjust the position of the device by loosening the xxxx on the right-hand side of the mounting bracket. Adjust the vertical and horizontal angle of the camera as desired, and then tighten the xxxx to lock the position.
9. Start the engine and check if the Car DVR has been installed correctly.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and illustrations on the installation process.
