To connect your WiFi device to the BrosTrend AC1200 Dual Band WiFi Extender, please follow these steps:
1. Plug the extender into an electrical outlet in the same room as your existing WiFi router. Wait until the PWR LED is solid blue.
2. On your WiFi device, go to the WiFi settings and select the WiFi network named "BrosTrend_EXT". Make sure to disable the mobile data function on your WiFi device.
3. After connecting to BrosTrend_EXT, you will be directed to the quick setup page. If not, open a web browser and enter "re.brostrend.com" or "192.168.0.254" in the address bar.
4. Create a login password for future logins (recommended).
5. On the quick setup page, select the WiFi network (SSID) you want to extend.
6. Enter the password for the WiFi network you want to extend.
7. Wait for a moment, and the "Extended Successfully!" page will appear.
8. Now, unplug the extender from the current electrical outlet and plug it into an outlet halfway between your WiFi router and the WiFi dead zone. Wait until the Signal LED turns on.
9. Finally, connect your WiFi devices to the extended networks, which will have the same network name as your existing network but with suffixes of "_EXT" or "_5GEXT". The WiFi password by default is the same as your existing WiFi network.
