To connect the Kuryakyn 2712 Handlebar Mounted Audio Speaker to your motorcycle's electrical system, follow these steps:
1. Determine the diameter of your handlebar and install the appropriate brackets provided in the kit.
2. Mount the speaker pods to the brackets using the included hardware.
3. Route the wire harness through the bike's frame to the battery.
4. Connect the red power wire (with the in-line fuse) from the wire harness to the positive terminal on the battery.
5. Attach the black ground wire from the wire harness to the negative terminal on the battery.
6. Extend and connect the blue 12V output wire from the Bluetooth Audio Controller to the orange wire on the speaker pods' wire harness. Use the provided T-Tap Quick Connect Female connector to tap into the side of the blue wire and connect it to the orange wire terminal.
7. Secure all wiring away from moving parts, pinch points, or extreme heat.
It is important to ensure that the red power wire is fused at the point where it is connected to the vehicle's battery. Failure to do so can result in damage to the vehicle if a short circuit develops between the vehicle connection point and the product.
