To set up the Tenda F9 N600Mbps Wireless Router for the first time, follow these steps:
1. Connect the router to your modem: Use an Ethernet cable to connect the WAN port on the router to the LAN port on your modem.
2. Power on the router: Plug the power adapter into the router and connect it to a power outlet. The power LED on the router should light up.
3. Connect your computer to the router: Use another Ethernet cable to connect your computer to one of the LAN ports on the router.
4. Configure your computer's network settings: Open a web browser on your computer and enter "http://192.168.0.1" in the address bar. Press Enter to access the router's web interface.
5. Log in to the router: The default username and password are both "admin". Enter these credentials to log in.
6. Set up the Internet connection: Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Internet connection type (DHCP, PPPoE, or Static IP) and enter the required details.
7. Configure wireless settings: Go to the Wireless Settings section in the web interface. Set a desired SSID (network name) and password for your wireless network.
8. Save and apply the settings: Click on the "Save" or "Apply" button to save the changes you made.
