There are two methods to sync the RBS20 satellite with your router: using the NETGEAR Orbi app or manually syncing it.
1. Syncing with the NETGEAR Orbi app:
a. Download the NETGEAR Orbi app from Orbi-app.com.
b. Launch the app and tap the menu icon, then select "ADD SATELLITE."
c. Follow the prompts in the app to sync your satellite with your router.
2. Manual syncing:
a. Place and power on your RBS20 satellite. The ring LED on the satellite will pulse white.
b. Wait for the ring LED to light solid white.
c. Press the Sync button on the back of the satellite.
d. Within two minutes, press the Sync button on the back of your router.
During the syncing process, the satellite's ring LED will display different colors to indicate the status:
- Blue: The router and satellite successfully synced, and the connection is good.
- Amber: The router and satellite successfully synced, but the connection is fair. Consider moving the satellite closer to the router.
- Magenta: The router and satellite failed to sync. Move the satellite closer to the router and try again.
