To switch between connected devices using the Monoprice 42644 KVM Switch, you have several options:
1. Manual Front Panel: Press one of the PC# buttons on the front panel of the KVM switch to directly select the corresponding PC.
2. IR Remote Control: Use the included IR remote control to switch between connected devices. You can press one of the numbered buttons to directly select the corresponding PC. You can also use the ◄ and ► buttons to cycle backward or forward through the connected PCs.
3. Mouse Traverse: Move the mouse cursor to the right side of the screen and keep moving it to the right for about 2 seconds. The KVM switch will automatically cycle forward to the next connected PC.
4. USB Port Detection: The KVM switch monitors the USB ports to each PC to detect the presence of a signal. If the currently selected PC is powered off or the USB connection is broken, the KVM switch will cycle forward to the next available PC. If a PC is powered on or a USB connection is established, the KVM switch will automatically switch focus to that PC.
5. Hotkey Selection: You can use hotkey combinations on your keyboard to switch between connected devices. The hotkey sequence begins with pressing the Scroll Lock (SL) key twice, followed by one or more other keys within 5 seconds. For example, SL+SL+1 will directly select PC1, SL+SL+→ will cycle forward to the next PC, and SL+SL+↑ will cycle backward to the previous PC.

Note: Make sure to have the appropriate cables connected to the KVM switch and the devices for proper operation.
