To charge the batteries for the Sangean BB-100 BlueBox, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the radio is turned off.
2. Connect the AC power cord into the AC socket on the radio.
3. Set the Battery Select switch next to the battery compartment to the "Charger" position.
4. The battery charge indicator LED will start flashing red, indicating that the batteries are being charged.
5. Charging time takes approximately 6-10 hours, depending on the capacity of the rechargeable batteries being used.
6. When the batteries are fully charged, the charge LED will turn steady red.
7. It is recommended to recharge the batteries at least every 2 months.
8. To disconnect the charging process, unplug the AC power cord from the AC socket.
Note: The radio can only be charged when it is turned off. Make sure to use rechargeable batteries and switch the Charger/Batteries switch to the Charger position before charging.
